2021 Lola

Now on its 13th vintage, Lola the wine is and has always been a blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon and starting with the 2016 vintage the bottling has come entirely from the Walla Walla Rocks District vineyard, Yellow Jacket.  

The 2019 is a blend of 74% Syrah and 26% Cabernet Sauvignon from Yellow Jacket Vineyard.  The Syrah was fermented with 100% whole cluster fruit, so no destemming whatsoever in order to build extra structure and savory herbal notes to compliment the blackberry and orange rind and a distinct floral note specific to this vineyard.  Plenty of tannin and depth make this a very age worthy wine.
